David Animal Save rescued 7 hens! They report: "We went to one of the largest 'poultry' producers in Panama, called Avicola Atenas, in order to ask for the lives of 5 hens, so we could give these animals a safe life with respect and love, and a place to live out their natural lives in peace." On December 24 they released 7 hens to them: "Initially we were promised 6 hens but today the farm store manager told me he was impressed and inspired by what the Animal Save Movement / Liberacion Animal Panama do and that he found it such a beautiful form of activism that we came and asked for these hens. And you won’t believe what he did: he personally gave us another hen, for whose freedom he paid out of his own pocket. So now we are driving 7 hens to their freedom!"
These babies are Sammy & David. New Haven Animal Save helped get them to sanctuary. They report: "Thank you so much Jasona Bolalek, Adam Chambers & Here With Us Farm Sanctuary for rescuing these little ones. Left to the dairy industry, these baby boys would have been killed, as they have no use within the industry. Do you think these guys deserve to die, for the crime of just being born? If not, go vegan. They will be fostered for a while, before embarking on their journey to their forever home in a couple of weeks!"

They decided to sell her to the neighbourhood slaughterhouse. We went to that home and convinced them to send her with us instead. She is currently enjoying her life of freedom with us at Ahimsa Vegan Sanctuary. She found a new companion in Diana."
It's not a rescue with special effects, burglaries and night escapes in the fields... But every now and then, a conscious rescue can give a nice message. Our Roma Animal Save activist is known in that place, and every now and then he goes to recover some animal in poor health, and the owners let him take away almost always sick or injured animals. The chicken's name is Apollo.
