FIRST VIGIL
Saltillo Animal Save held their first vigil on January 26 and 27. They report:
“Going to the slaughterhouse is not easy, but we will continue going, for them, to accompany them, to be witnesses and to give them a pinch of love. Because nobody deserves to be condemned to death from before birth and then live and die in that way. “

UNITED KINGDOM

On February 6, Manchester Pig Save held their 2-year anniversary vigil. Please watch:
“Two years ago, we stepped out in front of a slaughterhouse for the first time in Manchester. We did not know what to expect or what the future would hold. Since that day, the pigs we have borne witness to have made us the people we are today.
We have seen hundreds of thousands of pigs lose their lives. We have shared as many pigs’ stories as we could, to try to reconnect the public to the victims of their food choices.
Will you join us for a vigil?”

Portsmouth & Southsea Animal Save held their first vigil for aquatic animals on February 11. They report:
“Today was our first fish save here in Portsmouth.
Fish do not get the recognition they deserve. 70% of the world’s oxygen comes from our seas, which we are destroying with over-fishing. It is predicted that if we carry on fishing the way we do, we will have fishless oceans by 2048. Please consider where your next meal comes from and what it has had to go through to get there. Every benefit you get from consuming fish, you can get from plants Fish are friends, not food “
